RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) - Flamengo announced, this Friday morning (3), a game against Olimpia, from Paraguay, on the 17th, at 8pm, at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília.
The duel with Olímpia will be the last before the calendar returns after the break for the World Cup. The commitment is part of the red-black interseason program.
Flamengo is in Portugal and will play three games in the country. The first is this Friday (3) (3), at 3:30 pm (Brasília time), against River Plate, from Argentina. Then, they will face Lausanne-Sport, from Switzerland, on the 8th, and Benfica, from Portugal, on the 11th.
Leonardo Jardim's squad will have two stages of work in Europe. The first will be held in the city of Lagos, between June 29th and July 5th. The delegation will then head to Estói, where it will remain until July 12th.
Flamengo does not have the players called up for the World Cup in training in Portugal. Those already eliminated - Uruguayans Arrascaeta, De la Cruz and Varela and Ecuadorian Plata - will have a few days off and will begin work for the second semester at CT Ninho do Urubu. Brazilians Alex Sandro, Danilo, Léo Pereira and Lucas Paquetá, as well as Colombian Carrascal, remain in the tournament.
