Cruzeiro is preparing another heavy movement in the market. The club is close to signing striker Gabriel Pec, currently at LA Galaxy, and should further increase the investment made in reinforcements this season.

With the player's arrival, Raposa will surpass the mark of R$200 million invested in signings in 2026. The biggest deal continues to be Gerson, bought for around R$170 million and already considered the most expensive signing in the club's history.

Gabriel Pec should take second place on this list. Cruzeiro is negotiating a five-year contract with the attacker, in an operation valued at approximately R$60 million.

So far, the club has signed eight players this season, including Fagner, whose rights were definitively acquired. Part of the reinforcements arrived at no purchase cost, but the operations involving Gerson, Chico da Costa, Gabriel Rojas and Gabriel Pec bring the total value closer to R$270 million.

In the first window, in addition to Gerson, Cruzeiro also bought Chico da Costa for around R$5.5 million. Matheus Cunha, Néiser Villarreal, Bruno Rodrigues and Fagner arrived without paying a transfer fee.

For the second window, Raposa has already made official the purchase of Gabriel Rojas, ex-Racing, for approximately R$30 million. Gabriel Pec should be the next name announced.

Rojas and Pec will only be able to be registered from July 20th, the opening date of the international transfer window. If the documentation is regularized in time, the two will be able to debut for Cruzeiro on July 22, against Internacional, in the Brazilian Championship.
