Kate Middleton was at the All England Club this Thursday, July 2, and attracted attention when she began her royal engagement with a visit to the famous Wimbledon queue, where she met tennis fans.

According to People magazine, the Princess of Wales surprised the public by distributing tickets to some people who were waiting to watch the tournament.

Prince William's wife also greeted the Honorary Stewards, volunteers responsible for welcoming and guiding the public who arrive at the championship every year.

During her time at Wimbledon, Kate also met with children from the Shine Camera Club project. Afterwards, the princess watched a tennis match from the stands.

For the occasion, Kate chose an elegant set in shades of blue, consisting of pants and a blazer. The look was completed with a white blouse and high heel shoes.

The appearance comes after the Princess of Wales revealed that she secretly completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, a challenge that involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.

Kate has climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales.

When talking about the experience on social media, the princess also reflected on cancer and the recovery period after treatment.

"Cancer doesn't just affect the body. It changes the way we think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life. I know this from experience, and I know that the journey during and after treatment requires more than just medications," he wrote.

Kate also stated that she accepted the challenge not only as a physical test, but also as a way of reflecting on life after the diagnosis and reciprocating the support she received.

"The Royal Marsden is a place that has great meaning for me and whose care and expertise transforms the lives of so many people," he added.
